Charlotte, the Queen City, is a growing southeastern city that is the home of the Charlotte Motor Speedway, numerous NASCAR race teams and even the NASCAR stock car racing hall of fame which is being built currently.  Charlotte is home and headquarters to numerous large banks like Bank of America and Wachovia.  IT also has many bars and hot spots for the single person.  Recently it became semi famous for a large executive prostitution bust similar to that of New York and Elliot Spitzer, but in this case it was mostly a few car dealer’s and other local business executives that were caught with their pants down.

Charlotte is also home to a bustling internet website that encompasses everything Charlotte under the sun - Craigs List Charlotte. You can search for jobs, services of all sorts (even sexual ones).  There is even a Best of Craigslist area which shows some of the best and most popular postings on all of Craigslist.  There is literally no end to what one can find, buy, barter, etc… on Craigs List Charlotte.  You can purchase art for your room, beds, mattresses, car parts, even services like tile repair and mechanics that do house calls at bargain prices.  You can even post for items you would like and that are not currently available – I’ve used this feature myself a lot and it’s amazing how many people you can quickly find that have or can get what ever it is your after.

I used these same Charlotte Craigs List pages to find a certified automotive mechanic from a local new car dealership to come after hours and do about $3,000 (based on a local new car dealers labor charges) worth of work for under $300!  He did it under the table for some extra cash.  Can you imagine that a mechanic that does house calls at huge discounts - where else are you going to find that?  I have also bought numerous home furnishings at similar great savings.  There are many great deals to be had on Craigs List and low cost auto mechanics is just one of them.  You can peruse through or even list your real estate for sale.  There are local tutors to help your children and even you in everything from math to Spanish and German.  The possibilities on Craigs List Charlotte are endless.

I also used this technique of hiring low cost car mechanics in Raleigh North Carolina to save a bundle for a friend who's car had broken down and needed to be worked on that day.  I got online with a local free wifi and started emailing and calling a few of the posted listings for mechanics.  Within about 25 minutes I had found someone that would come right out and check it out.  It turned out he had some electrical shorts due to faulty wiring.  Within 2 hours my friend was back on the road and the cost?  Only $150 and that included them coming out to do a virtual house call on my friends car.  Now that is amazing!  Just a tow to a local service station or garage is at least $70 and then there's the $60+ per hour charge just to see what is wrong with your vehicle.  He did it all for $150!  Do you have any idea how much a service center would have charged for electrical shorts - hundreds of dollars!
