For manufacturer recommended maintenance and repair manuals you will find numerous sources from Ebay to online salvage and scrap yards.  In my experience the online scrap yards yielded way better results (Ebay had several sellers that would send the wrong years owners or other manuals).  It is good to find an online salvage yard or source for parts as they will be much cheaper and can source pretty much anything you may need.  A good source is Car-parts.com.  You can enter a desired part and then pick out what price, condition and even location. 

Back to the online automotive repair manuals.  Some very helpful publishers like Chilton’s and others make great manuals.  You just have to pick whether you would like a general repair manual or a more specific manual (specific to your year and make of vehicle).  They even have these manuals for commercial trucks and motorcycles.  You can also purchase a set made specifically by your manufacturer.  These usually come as a small set and can cost a good bit more (upwards of $200 to more than $1500 for the full set) and these manufacturer manuals tend to be very technical and not for the average joe wanting to do a weekend repair.  These technical manuals will have small bits of information that may not be found anywhere else like remote reprogramming instructions and similar.
